Tip of the Day

A loyal reader, who I will call Skipper here, observed that my tip of the taxi driver last Wednesday was a bit light. It was only about 10% of the fare. I had actually intended to give a 15% tip. I may find an opportunity to make that up to her. Recently Hans, a reader in Denmark, expressed concern that I did not appear to be commenting on movies that are current releases, and went on to comment that I never seem be willing to pay full price to see a movie. Last week I did see the movie "Good Night, and Good Luck." It is a current release. It is an excellent film. My father paid for my ticket.
