They've Gone to the Dogs

Carmel is reportedly one of the most dog-friendly towns in America. Many restaurants and shops allow people to take their dogs inside, and many of those that don't supply dog treats or little hitching posts for the dogs by their door. Tiffany's has a dog bowl set outside the door, and store I saw has a little box of dog bones set outside the door with a note: "A TREAT FOR YOUR 4-LEGGED FRIEND."
