Family Shortcomings

I attended a very nice Christmas dinner at the home of a friend. She is a leader of a tutoring program I was able to participate in a bit this past year, so her parents hosted a dinner for their dauthter and some who had helped with the program. My friend and her parents proudly told story after story of eccentric family members. I found myself racking my brain for bizarre figures from my family history, but I came up empty, and found myself feeling inadequate.
